Why this procedure?
It is more common than you think for fat to grow around a man’s chest area, especially after dramatic weight loss, hormonal changes among other causes. Since sometimes this is out of their control, it can really hurt their confidence and harm their masculinity, making them uncomfortable in certain kind of clothing.

If you’re going through this right now, you may have found yourself feeling uncomfortable in your old shirts, avoiding pool parties and trying hard to hide this area of your body. But getting rid of this condition is really easy. Let us tell you a little bit about our male breast liposuction.

What happens during a male breast liposuction?
During this procedure, our surgeons make a small incision on each side of the chest and
eliminate the excess fat from the breast area by suctioning it. Depending on the case, these incisions will be made along the areola or the armpit and the scars will be minimal.

After the fat is suctioned, our surgeons will also sculpt the chest to give it a more firm, natural look in proportion to the patient’s body and a more masculine appearance.

  • Minimally invasive procedure.
  • Achieves a more masculine appearance.
  • Improves body contour.
  • Improves posture.
  • Boosts self-esteem and confidence.
  • Quick recovery.
  • Surgical fees
  • Hospitalization expenses
  • Anesthesia and Anesthesiologist
  • Preoperative Analysis: Laboratory tests and EKG- Cardiologist Evaluation- (the EKG is perform in patients that are 40 years old and older)
  • Medical Care (Nurses)
  • Three months of free consultations and follow up visits after surgery

The following are considered extra expenses:

  • Special compressive garment (if applicable)
  • Medication (antibiotics and analgesic treatment)
  • Overnight stay in Clinic or Hotel (if applicable)

Men who:

  • Are in good health.
  • Have firm, elastic skin with excess fat in the breast area.
  • Are in a relatively normal weight.

CAUTION: Extremely thin men with breasts are not a good candidate for this procedure because they can have excess glandular tissue or real gynecomastia and will not benefit from this. Instead, they need a surgical procedure designed to extract the glandular tissue.

The recovery process after a male breast liposuction is quite bearable. It is very probable you’ll be asked to wear a special compression garment after the surgery, to help protect the area and minimize any swelling. Some discomfort, pain and bruising may also appear, but the medication prescribed by your surgeon will help you control it.

Please be careful not to do any activities that demand a lot of physical strength during the 3 to 4 weeks following the procedure.

And most importantly, don’t forget to follow your surgeon’s instructions and to attend every one of your appointments. We need to work as a team to achieve the ultimate results.

It is important to note that recovery specifications may vary depending on the procedure and the patient; our medical staff will walk you through the details of your recovery process.

When can I resume my normal activities?

You’ll be able to return to your normal activities 2 to 4 after the surgery.

Can I get a tan?

It is very important to avoid long sun exposure for a considerable amount of time after the surgery to prevent pigmentation on the scars. Depending on the procedure, your surgeon will tell you exactly for how long you must avoid this.

Should I consider a specific time of the year to do my procedure?

Depending on the chosen procedure, some recoveries do better on winter, while others do better on the summer time. Ask your surgeon for the option that better suits your case. You should also consider periods of time in which you’ll have time to relax, like the holidays, for example.
