Cheek and Neck LIPOSUCTION

A firm and young-looking neckline defines the contour of the face and chin and catches everyone’s attention. However, different factors such as age or genetics, cause fat deposits on our cheeks and neck, which can ruin our profile. Luckily, through our Cheek & Neck Liposuction, we can reverse those effects and make you feel young and attractive again.

Why this procedure?

Sometimes, our bone structure is on point, but our skin and the fat that accumulates in it insist on harming its appearance. Our cheeks get “chubby” with fat and excess skin invading our necks, breaking that defined look we once had. Suddenly, we find it hard to remember how our face used to look and how long to go back to that slim elegant neckline and firm, contoured cheekbones.

ADVANTAGES

Well, our Cheek and Neck Liposuction procedure is the recipe for men and women to get that elegant, graceful, masculine, and strong look back. This procedure focuses on removing fat and erasing sagginess from the cheeks, the neck, the mandible, and the chin, covering a crucial area of the facial features, making it possible to have such a positive impact.

What happens during the cheek & neck liposuction?

During the Cheek and Neck Liposuction, the medical staff administers local anesthesia and our cosmetic surgeon makes small incisions on each side of the neck or in just one place depending on the case of the patient. The procedure is quite non-invasive and works very well on every type of face and skin, leaving extremely small scars that are hidden under the chin.

The recovery process is quite short and harmless. After the Cheek and Neck Liposuction is done, you’ll have to use a compression garment around the chin area. This will help with the blood circulation, reduce the swelling and bring support to the cheeks & neck. Some discomfort may appear, but the medication prescribed by your surgeon will help you control it.

When he tells you to, your surgeon will remove the compression garment carefully and any sutures will a) dissolve naturally, b) be removed by your cosmetic surgeon or c) you may remove them yourself when he says it’s time; it depends on the case.

Don’t forget to follow your surgeon’s instructions and to attend every one of your appointments. We need to work as a team to achieve the ultimate results.

(It is important to note that recovery specifications may vary depending on the procedure and the patient; your doctor will walk you through the details of your recovery process.)

When can I resume my normal activities?

You’ll be able to return to your normal activities 7 to 10 days after the surgery.

Can I get a tan?

It is very important to avoid long sun exposure for a considerable amount of time after the surgery to prevent pigmentation on the scars. Depending on the procedure, you’ll doctor will tell you exactly for how long you must avoid this.

Should I consider a specific time of the year to do my procedure?

Depending on the chosen procedure, some recoveries do better on winter, while others do better on the summer time. Ask your doctor for the option that better suits your case. You should also consider periods of time in which you’ll have time to relax, like the holidays, for example.
