This recovery process is one of the lightest ones if you follow all your post-op recommendations . The first days after the procedure, some discomfort, pain and/or swelling may appear, but the medication prescribed by your surgeon will help you control it. You’ll also need to apply antibiotic ointment to prevent infections.
If any suture, bandage or compression garment were applied, a) they’ll dissolve naturally, b) they’ll have to be removed by your cosmetic surgeon or c) you may remove them yourself when he says it’s time; it depends on the case.
The best part is, you’ll be able to pierce your ears again only 10 days after the surgery!
