Why this procedure?

For decades, women have been battling hair in specific areas of their bodies and going through painful measures to remove it. For men, having excessive hair in certain places can be uncomfortable. For both, constant shaving can irritate the skin. Luckily, technology has brought a new technique that eliminates hair permanently, ending this ongoing war.

Our laser hair removal programs include every area of the body. In women, the most commonly treated areas are the face, armpit, bikini area and legs; in men, the chest, back, legs and face. Not only will you get rid of all that unwanted hair, but you’ll also get smooth skin with an even tone.

What happens during the laser hair removal?

This treatment is performed in the comfort and privacy of a cubicle in our Medical Spa. We use the Lightsheer diode laser, the most requested hair removal device, for it has the best results in every skin types. What the laser does is destroy the follicle from which the hair is born so it can’t produce new hair anymore.

Depending on the area, a session can last from just a few minutes to up to an hour and a half. During a session, the treated area is prepared and our specialists hand our patients glasses to protect their eyes from the laser light. Then, they use small gun type machine (which is the laser) and press it to the selected areas. Each pulse is followed by a short refrigeration pulverizing pulse.
