Why  this procedure?

As time goes by, and as other factors such as giving birth get in the picture, a woman’s vagina may become loose. Although this may be perceived as an aesthetic issue, it is more serious than that. A loose vagina may cause a high risk of vaginal infections, involuntary loss of urine at random moments, more vaginal discharge than usual and less pleasure during sex. All of this can be very uncomfortable and harmful for your health both physically and emotionally, so we encourage you to try our vaginal rejuvenation procedure, which will not only improve your sex life, bringing you more pleasure and satisfaction, but will also protect this delicate area from bacteria and infections and boost your self-confidence.

To recover from this procedure successfully, you’ll have to follow some instructions carefully. Remember: the vagina is a very delicate part of your body, so you must take good care of it. Here’s how:

After the procedure, some discomfort, pain, bruising and/or swelling may appear, but the medication prescribed by your surgeon as well as placing ice packs on the area, will help you control it.

In this case, the applied sutures will dissolve naturally. Wear only loose clothes and cotton underwear after the surgery, it is very important that you don’t apply any pressure to the area.

Avoid any activity that requires major effort, like pushing or pulling, for at least 4 weeks after the surgery. Activities that may hurt the area directly such as riding bikes, motorcycles or horses, are also not recommended. Don’t have any sexual intercourse for 6 to 7 weeks after the surgery.

Don’t forget to follow your doctor´s instructions and to attend every one of your appointments. We need to work as a team to achieve the ultimate results.

(It is important to note that recovery specifications may vary depending on the procedure and the patient; our medical staff will walk you through the details of your recovery process.)

When can I resume my normal activities?

You’ll be able to return to your normal activities 1 week after the surgery.

Can I get a tan?

It is very important to avoid long sun exposure for a considerable amount of time after the surgery to prevent pigmentation on the scars. Depending on the procedure, your surgeon will tell you exactly for how long you must avoid this.

Should I consider a specific time of the year to do my procedure?

Depending on the chosen procedure, some recoveries do better on winter, while others do better on the summer time. Ask your surgeon for the option that better suits your case. You should also consider periods of time in which you’ll have time to relax, like the holidays, for example.
