Before you can go out and show off your new buttocks, you’ll have to wear a compression garment for approximately 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the case, to keep the area safe and minimize the swelling. It is also possible that you’ll have to avoid sitting for some days and may even have to sleep face down. This is also going to protect the area and will accelerate your recovery process.
Some discomfort, pain and bruising may appear, but the medication prescribed by your surgeon will help you control it.
