1. Before your surgery write yourself a letter of how excited you are about the change.
2. Look at your old pictures to see what inspired you to look for a change.
3. “Lose yourself” in your favorite books and movies.
4. Enlist a friend to be your cheerleader.
5. Plan your new wardrobe or hairstyle.
6. Keep your focus on the future, and be kind to yourself.
