- Before your surgery write yourself a letter of how excited you are about the change.
- Look at your old pictures to see what inspired you to look for a change.
- “Lose yourself” in your favorite books and movies.
- Enlist a friend to be your cheerleader.
- Plan your new wardrobe or hairstyle.
- Keep your focus on the future, and be kind to yourself.
