First, you must be willing to make substantial changes in your lifestyle, especially regarding your eating habits and exercise routines. You may experience food intolerance to bread, dried fruit, hard meat, fiber, among others, but even though this may happen, it is very important for you to ingest the right amount of calories, proteins and vitamins to avoid feeling sick and weak.
You must be aware that discomfort or pain may appear during the first days after the surgery, but the medication prescribed by your doctor will help you control it. Also, if any suture, bandage or compression garment were applied, a) they’ll dissolve naturally, b) they’ll have to be removed by your cosmetic surgeon or c) you may remove them yourself when he says it’s time; it depends on the case.
